It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like…

Reader, I will confess. I literally hugged the pulpit last week. It felt SO good to be back in the sanctuary!

Everything went well, and the joy in being together was enhanced even further with live music by Julianne Knott, Darja Tomanovic, Alyssa Goss, Elizabeth Maze, and C.T. Goss, all planned out by our Music Director Rebecca Maze.

After the second service, I met with five people for the Exploring Membership class. We enjoyed class outside and ALL FIVE have joined Live Oak! I can’t wait for you to get to know Carol Sheffield, Judy Reynolds, Neil Suneson, Anne Click, and Sarah Bowers.

While I was in the Exploring Membership class, elves were hard at work making Live Oak look festive. Mission accomplished! Thank you to Wayne Gregory, Sue Buckley, Liz Waters, Rebecca Maze, Lee Collins, and leader Mike Schultz.

And the festive fun wasn’t over! Sunday evening, Rabbi Reice and I gathered once more for the Interfaith PJ Holiday Storytime, which began with the rabbi lighting the candles for the final night of Chanukah.

May we be gentle with each other. May we be a source of encouragement. And may we grab on to fun whenever possible!
