Upcoming Walk for 2021

See a bird’s eye view of our Labyrinth. Please join us!

If you have never walked the Labyrinth before, come 15 minutes early for an introduction to the Labyrinth. No experience necessary!

Winter Solstice Labyrinth Walk at 3 PM on December 21, 2021

Please join us at the entrance to the Live Oak UU Labyrinth. Light is returning, just as we are returning to the Live Oak Labyrinth! All are welcome—adults and children. We walk on the shortest day to prepare for the longest night on the Winter Solstice. We also celebrate the return of the light—the spark of the divine light in each one of us, the warmth of community, and the promise of renewed hope for 2022.

NOTE: Masks are optional outdoors for vaccinated persons. Masks are required for unvaccinated folks. For more information: Linda Webster.

All Community Walks are family friendly—for all persons. Please gather at the labyrinth, and come dressed for outdoor weather. Share in community as we walk in friendship and peace. For more information: labyrinth@liveoakuu.org

Women’s Labyrinth Group meets on the second Sunday of the month (September-June), 6:30 to 9 P.M., in Room 111 of the Live Oak UU Church for a sharing circle followed by a labyrinth walk. The labyrinth is a metaphor for the life journey. Please join us as we share the twists and turns of our lives and support each other along the path. The group is open to women high school age and older. Contact: Linda Webster: labyrinth@liveoakuu.org

Volunteers: We are looking for additional members for the Labyrinth Team, or for volunteers to join us in planning one of our community walks. We also invite volunteers to help maintain the labyrinth.
